Each profile is structured to mirror the three sections of a typical housing study — Community Profile, Residential Market Analysis, and Workforce Housing Needs Assessment — with industry and occupation wage detail layered on top.

  A full housing profile for any of 3,222 counties

• BLS QCEW

  Industry employment & wages

  Section 4 lists the county's NAICS sectors and 3-digit subsectors with employment, average annual pay, and the home price and rent each industry's wage can sustain at the same 30%-of-income standard used elsewhere on the page.

• BLS OEWS

  Occupation wages & affordability

  Section 5 shows 20 essential-worker occupations — teachers, nurses, police, retail, food service, trades — with the current-year wage, the 10-year change, and the home price and rent that wage will sustain in this county.

• HUD AMI

  Workforce income brackets

  Section 3 pairs ACS median household income with HUD Area Median Income at 80%, 100%, and 120% for 1-, 2-, and 4-person households, so the workforce-housing discussion lines up with the way regulators already define affordability.
